Distance learning courses are a flexible way to learn new skills and update your existing ones. The Chakra Therapy Course is fully comprehensive. The aim of the correspondence course is to provide each student with a high level of knowledge and skill in the theory and practice of Chakra Therapy. It is not recognised or endorsed by ACHO, but it stands in its own merit. An optional module Anatomy and Physiology is highly recommended for those who wish to practice as a therapist.
Home Study Hours:
This is only an approximate figure and is dependant upon how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how well you grasp the learning concepts in the course material. The approximate amount of time required to complete the course is: 100 hours. You study at your own pace and in your own time and you can choose optional training days to gain practical hands-on experience. Materials are provided by e.mail and by post.

With this course you will have access to your own personal tutor who is a specialist in this field of study. It is your personal tutor's role to ensure that you receive constructive feedback and to deal with any queries you may have. Requirements for Entry:
There is no experience or previous qualifications required for enrolment on this course. It is available to all students, of all academic backgrounds. It is practical training to help you get the essential qualifications to help you achieve your goals in life. Chakra Therapists are now accepted and recognized worldwide and this course will provide you with sufficient knowledge and expertise to use this therapy.

Professional Standard:
In order to meet a professional standard, you will need to show you have a thorough working knowledge of the Seven Master Chakras, Nine Chakra Harmony Essences and set of ten chakra balancing crystals. You are proficient in a recognised form of diagnosis; that you have grasped the theory and practice of Chakra Therapy, including professional ethics and running a healing practice. Practical and written work will be required and certificates will be awarded on the basis of tutor, client and self assessment.
Assessor and Evidence:
A tutor after consultation with the learner assesses:
The learner's evidence portfolio - this should include for each module:
* An evaluation journal, either as a 1,000-word essay or as day-to-day experiences
* Units 1 to 30 which form the basis of the evidence portfolio. The units must be kept in sequential numerical order.
Additional Requirements:
You will be require to keep a Learners Evidence Portfolio of all your written-work. This must include:
* Notes taken during chakra therapy sessions.
* A Bibliography must be kept - showing books and articles read throughout the course.
* A list must be kept of other courses or workshops attended during the course.
* Assessment Sheets: For the Practitioner Level: 5 case studies need to be completed, as do learners assessment sheets and client assessment forms. Assessment is continuous with no final exam.
Membership
Students who successfully complete the Certificate in Chakra Therapy courses are entitled to use the appropriate denigratory letters after their name. Certificate in Chakra Therapy of The Hazel Raven College of Bio-Dynamics. This grade of membership is only available to HRCB students, who have successfully completed the Certificate in Chakra Therapy. It allows them to use the letters HRCB CT after their name.
